Building Worqen #1 — the week reputation went on-chain
It's Friday. Here's the week, honestly.
This week we basically lived in one theme: reputation. Not stars you can game - reputation written into the blockchain.
What we built:
Worqen Score - our reputation engine. XP isn't earned from clicks, but from deals actually completed through escrow. 20 levels, each named after a profession technology killed - from Scribe to Film Projectionist. Plus anti-gaming: a deal threshold, repeat-pair detection, and a "current form" signal.
On-chain proof on profiles - Completed Contracts, verified on-chain (no amounts shown). Not "take my word for it," but a fact you can check.
The hiring side - Vacancies and Direct Hire: employers will be able to browse talent and hire directly.
Non-custodial wallet - moving toward keys and seed staying with the user, not the platform.
Hardening - disputes, payouts, multi-currency (USDC/EURC/USDT), and a pile of small fixes. Boring - but it's exactly what keeps trust intact.
Off the keyboard:
Submitted grant applications.
Actively looking for partners and employers who hire and want to pay fairly and fast.
Next: finishing Worqen Score in production and opening up the hiring side more widely.
Worqen is live on Solana. 99 users, $0 spent on marketing. Building a world where work finds the person.
