On-chain escrow

ChangedThe escrow program that holds live funds on Solana was upgraded in place to the release that had been running on the test network. It was executed through a multisig, so no single key could carry it out, and rehearsed beforehand against a replica of the live program state.

AddedThe upgrade brought the hourly weekly-invoice instructions to mainnet for the first time. Until then the hourly engine ran on the test network only, and the program securing live funds had no hourly instructions at all.

ChangedThe contract card on the landing page links to the public source repository for the escrow program and names the exact deployed version.

Payments

FixedA payment that had already gone through on Solana could still come back as an error and leave no record of itself. Worqen now keeps checking until the transaction has genuinely settled or genuinely expired, tolerates a failed check along the way, and searches the network history before declaring one lost.

FixedThat handling covers every money action Worqen signs for you: funding and releasing an escrow from your Platform Wallet, cancelling a hire, paying out a dispute in SOL or a stablecoin, and sending funds out of your wallet. A brief network hiccup during any of these no longer reads as a failure.

ImprovedWhen the network is too slow to confirm in time, Worqen says the transaction was submitted and may already have settled, so you can check before retrying. A transaction the escrow program rejects comes back with the error code the program gave, rather than an unexplained failure.

Hourly billing

FixedFunding a week reads the amount already locked for it on the network. If a payment reached Solana but was never recorded, Worqen repairs its own record instead of asking the client to pay again or refusing with an already-funded error.

FixedHours logged on the first day of a week could vanish from the timesheet. The week read as empty, the progress meter stayed at zero and the option to bill never appeared, so those hours could be recorded but never invoiced.

FixedThe weekly grid could be shifted a day forward in some time zones, dropping the first day of the week and offering a cell for a day belonging to the next one. It now matches the hire's week wherever you are.

ImprovedAsking to fund more hours than the locked weekly cap allows returns a clear message asking you to raise the cap first, instead of a payment that fails on the network.

Marketplace

FixedA CV attached to a job application stopped working about a day after it was uploaded, so clients who opened it found a missing file. CVs are moved into permanent storage the moment the application is submitted.

SecurityAn application can no longer point at a file uploaded by someone else or hosted outside Worqen. If the CV you uploaded has already expired, you are asked to upload it again rather than submitting a broken attachment.
