Worqen is a Solana-based services marketplace. Employers post Jobs, Employees deliver them, and payments are settled on-chain through an escrow smart contract in USDC, USDT, EURC, or SOL. We are live on mainnet and building out the product.
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain the Worqen web app in Next.js 15, React, and TypeScript. You will work closely with our Python (FastAPI) backend and the Solana on-chain layer.
Build and maintain the UI in Next.js 15 (App Router), React, and TypeScript
Implement core product flows: Jobs, Applications, Hires, Milestones, Escrow, Wallet, Profile, and the dual Employer/Employee role switch
Integrate Solana wallet flows (wallet connect, transaction signing) — users sign their own on-chain operations
Consume the FastAPI backend API and handle real-time features (chat, notifications)
Deliver a responsive, accessible, performant, English-only interface
Collaborate closely with the UI/UX designer and backend team
Strong React, Next.js (App Router), and TypeScript
Experience consuming REST APIs, state management, forms, and auth flows
Comfortable with Web3 frontend (Solana wallet adapter / web3.js or similar), or a strong willingness to ramp up quickly
Solid CSS / responsive layout, component architecture, and Git
English working proficiency
Prior crypto / wallet / dApp frontend experience
Real-time (WebSocket) features
Design-system / Tailwind experience
Remote, ~full-time

6-month initial engagement (extendable based on results)
